FaithFront educates and motivates individuals to help imbue fundamental Christian values into our secularized society – to take their convictions from the pews to the marketplace – and so influence the course of American society and culture. Current norms in the public square have been largely successful in pressuring Christians to leave their faith behind when they walk out their front door, which makes this the right time for the FaithFront initiative.

There is a definite place for gospel values in the public discourse and in the decision-making that leads to action in politics, business, and leisure. People of faith need to understand that, in this land of diversity, theirs is as legitimate - and, we would add, necessary - a voice as anyone else’s and one that is entitled to be heard. Our goal is to make the systems of a free society more accessible to people who hold firm convictions when it comes to moral values, but who might not know how to put those convictions into action. FaithFront seeks to hearten and embolden individuals who are not involved in politics but who could be; individuals who are not schooled in Christian social teaching but who should be; individuals who are not aware of the degenerative effects of modern culture but who must be. Those whose lives are guided by gospel values need to know they are not alone. There are many people of different faiths concerned about the same things they are. They also need to know what is being done to address those concerns, and FaithFront draws upon the real-life experiences of individuals in business, politics, and culture to inform them. These individuals are people of faith who are not leading double lives, but who are successfully assimilating gospel values into their life’s work with no retreats and no apologies.

Finally, people need to know the important work that is left to be done and how they can contribute in their own way to the Christian leavening of modern American society. In addition to workshops, seminars, and panel discussions, FaithFront publishes a periodic newsletter highlighting programs, events, and topical points of interest. The challenge facing many Christians today is to muster the courage to take what is of primary importance in their lives and bring it out into the world – to leave the quiet of the catacombs for the clamor of the public arena because that is what Christ is asking us to do.
